An inverse-based iterative learning control algorithm is introduced. Its convergence and robustness properties are presented, and possible difficulties of dealing with non-minimum phase systems are discussed. Extension of the basic inverse-based iterative learning control algorithm to address point-to-point tracking tasks is also described.
