The paper reviews the optimization of energy consumption of an enterprise using a centralized power grid along with local generators and energy storage systems. To solve this problem, the authors suggest an optimal power consumption scheduling algorithm with a moving scheduling horizon. The advantage of this algorithm is the use of more precise power output values of local power generation and storage systems at every stage to reduce the probability of discrepancies between the planned and actual energy consumption profiles. This paper presents an evaluation of savings due to the use of different power supply variants. The results obtained can be used for the dynamic control of the enterprise’s energy consumption and the selection of local power generation and storage system parameters to facilitate the economic and technical requirements of the company operations.
