Chapter 6 investigates the event-triggered control method for multiple UAVs, addressing the issue of limited actuator response frequency. Besides, the limited communication resource denotes another significant challenge to affect the control performance of multi-UAV system. Typically, the multi-UAV system employs a periodic communication mechanism. The frequent communication leads to an amount of unnecessary transmission when the multi-UAV system reaches stability, resulting in the network congestion. Thus, this chapter explores how to reduce the frequency of communication while ensuring the control performance of multi-UAV system.
