An approximate method for determining the duration of transients in pulse-phase locked loops with beat modes and parameter switching is proposed in order to increase the performance in the presence of switching interference. Analytical expressions have been found to determine the duration of transients in the pulse-phase locked loop with switching elements and taking into account the beat mode. A comparison of calculation results according to the proposed methodology and the results of modeling transients in the pulse-phase locked loop using the MATLAB software subsystem Simulink Power System is presented.
