The paper addresses design problems of vibration and attitude control of a passenger car on thebasis of a full-vehicle model. Special attention has been paid to the interaction among the foursuspension systems and the effectivity of incorporating a co-ordinated control strategy. Also therelation between vertical (in-plane) and lateral (out-of-plane) dynamics with respect to suspensioncontrol has been examined.
