In order to study the flexural behavior of composite beams with different concrete flange construction, experiments of four steel-concrete composite beams under bisymmetric mid-span loading were conducted, and mechanical behavior of all specimens were analyzed by using finite element method. The research result shows that (1) performances of composite beam with precast slabs and composite beam combined with precast slabs and concrete cast-in-situ are similarly under sagging moment, but significantly different under hogging moment; (2) after crack occurs in the concrete flange of composite beam with precast slabs, the crack width develops without effectively restraint, the stiffness of section decreases quickly, and the bearing capacity of ultimate state will reached earlier.
