This paper proposes a travel route choice model considering guidance information based on orthogonal experimental design and Logit model to investigate the influence of guidance information on travel route choice. First, information intensity, congestion, and change of travel time are considered in this study, in which ways of giving information and refresh frequency are represented as the information intensity attribute. Then, a questionnaire on account of orthogonal experimental design is developed and 855 samples are collected through stated preference (SP) survey. Finally, a travel route choice model based on logit model is established and estimated. We find that passengers are highly sensitive to the information intensity, so the information intensity should be taken into account when formulating the metro passengers’ guiding strategy.
