This work present the implementation of a PID controller to direct the trajectory of a two line kite towards a figure of eight shape. It starts with an introductory section to present the concepts of Airborne Wind Energy Systems, control and dynamic systems. Then, the next chapter is used to gain a deeper understanding of dynamic systems through the example of the Du ng equation. Next, the model of the two line kite is presented. The concrete data for the model is taken from a kite surf type kite controlled with two tethers. The next part describes the process undergone to obtain a fiure of eight trajectory with the use of a PID controller. Lastly, there is an attempt to complement an existing control law with the PID controller to fit the system into a specific target figure of eight trajectory. The end result of this project is a deep understanding of kite dynamics, control, and dynamic systems. ; Ingeniería Aeroespacial
