The capacity of the runways of the aerodrome is one of the most important performance characteristics of the airport. In theory, the system of runways can be seen as queuing system with the expectation that is used for servicing of different kinds of airplane's take off and landing operations. By using the apparatus of the queuing theory derived mathematical relations for determining the rated capacity of the system of two parallel independent non-specialized, two parallel independent specialized and two parallel dependent specialized runways. The obtained mathematical relations allow us to determine the most appropriate organization of airplanes flights at the aerodrome
