Results of combined flight and ground-based dynamic flight simulator study of handling and riding qualities problems associated with low altitude, high speed flight; wide variations of longitudinal stability and control characteristics, considered representative of current and future strike aircraft, were pilot evaluated; results are presented in terms of iso-opinion and iso-performance boundaries defining desired and required stability and control parameters for low altitude, high speed flight; these acceptance boundaries are significantly different from boundaries defined in Military Specifications.
