Dynamic longitudinal stability of towed glider; stability problem of glider towed behind aircraft with heavy and flexible towing rope affected by aerodynamic forces is considered; using second kind Lagrange's equations, differential equations of motion are derived; after linearization, system consists of seven ordinary, second order differential equations; solution of system consists in finding out eigenvalues of asymmetric (arbitrary) matrices, which are of fourteenth order in case considered; by means of numerical calculations, influence of reciprocal position of aircraft and given high-performance glider on stability of glider is investigated; results are discussed.
