Rhine Board of River Works at Coblenz, Germany, is obtaining excellent results with Diesel-electric floating crane, Koblenz; main power plant consists of two 160-b.hp. 4-cylinder, 2-cycle Diesels driving two 220-volt d.c. generators; hull is 119 ft. 7 in. in length, 32 ft. beam, 4 ft. 11 in. draft, and is divided into number of watertight compartments; extreme height above water is 20 ft. 7 in. to top of stationary slewing crane which has capacity of from 6 to 11 tons.
