Additional thought is given to rapid transit from air terminals to midtown areas; it is shown how minibusses being used in Washington, D C, meet definite needs in congested downtown area; San Francisco's complex billion-dollar rapid-transit system is another approach that is under way; civil engineers' responsibility to get air traveler to his midtown destination in reasonable length of time is stressed.
