C. headquarters at St. James Park is example of modern office-building design; covers area of 31, 000 sq. ft. and is built on cruciform plan in order that daylight lighting can be utilized to fullest extent; frontages extend over 1270 ft.; total floor space exceeds 275,000 sq. ft.; electric equipment includes electric thermal storage, central heating system for utilizing available energy from railway system during off-peak hours.
