History of establishment of ship for training British Officers and Masters for Merchant Service; present H MS Worcester, third of name to be employed for training service, was built in 1904 by Vickers, Sons and Maxim to order of Metropolitan Asylums Board, which was later merged into London County Council; general arrangement of ship shown in diagrams; training and routine discussed.
