Practical value and extent of utilization of neoprene depend on relationship between several factors difficult to evaluate, such as: quality, cost, and tire design involved and adaptability of plant to use of neoprene; limited improvement in quality can be made by use of neoprene for part or all of elastomer in passenger car tire of conventional design; greatest advantage obtained by designing tire around property of neoprene.
