Properties of cationic emulsified asphalt were compared with anionic emulsified asphalt, Type SS-2, in project developed by Post Engineer for sealing heliports and runways at Camp Wolters, Tex; area to be sealed consisted of 1200×1400 ft main heliport and 3 stage fields; each stage field has 6 runways of 50×1600 ft which provided means for comparing 2 asphalts; runways were subjected to auto rotation landings.
