At all temperature levels, blunting cone cylinder model yielded increases in transition Reynolds number over that obtained on sharp model; no increase obtained by blunting parabolic model; on both models, moderate cooling resulted in increase in transition Reynolds number while extreme cooling decreased transition Reynolds number.
