Earth-storable propellants are defined as rocket propellants that exist in liquid phase at temperatures encountered on Earth's surface, 70 plus or minus 30 F; use of these propellants will allow designer to achieve propulsion system simplicity and predictability required for spacecraft flights to Moon and near planets; injector design precepts under study and mission requirements for earth-storable propellants are reviewed; details of three basic propulsion-system design choices, used to guide and restrict scope of advanced technology pursued.
