Properties and aircraft uses. According to results obtained by various experiments, duralumin has strength of 35 to 40 kg. per sq. mm., elongation of 10 to 15 per cent, stretching strain limit about 28 to 32 kg. per sq. mm., and modulus of elasticity of about 600,000 to 700,000 kg. per sq. mm.
