Study is made by Goodyear Aerospace Corp of Venus probes, capable of entering planet's atmosphere and staying in static equilibrium at higher and cooler altitudes, thus avoiding high temperatures closer to surface; probes would be launched by Saturn C-1B boosters; unique hydrogen-inflated balloons would be produced by combining requirements of static lift with those for entry into Venus atmosphere; balloons would have isotensoid shape, trail behind instrument package and be constructed from high-temperature fabrics under development; weight analysis shows that, in minimum temperature atmosphere and, to lesser degree, in standard Venus atmospheres, biological and atmospheric experiments can be performed.
