In post war years, airplanes will have to be constructed as easily and cheaply as cars were before war; they will be manufactured almost solely from pressings, while retaining same robustness and ease of maintenance; remarks outline in general, method of manufacture of such airplane; stressed cellular construction has advantages compared with standard methods of manufacture, chief of which is much greater flexibility obtainable in stressing; diagrams given.
