15 highway bridges constructed in large southern Army cantonment; preframed all timber trusses 60 ft long were used for channel spans where wider unrestricted waterways were desirable; standard timber trestles used for approach and other short spans; all bridges have 24-ft clear vehicular roadway and are designed for standard H-15 truck train loading; those in areas of heavy pedestrian traffic have 8-ft sidewalk on either side.
