Two 0-4-0 Diesel mechanical locomotives, built by Andrew Barclay, Sons and Co, in service at Port Sunlight Works of Lever Bros; fitted with final drive with specially high reduction ratio designed to reduce speed and increase tractive effort; first speed is 3 mph, at which tractive effort 18,350 lb, and weight in working order is 34 tons giving adhesion ratio of 4.15 to 1; powered by Gardner 8L3 compression ignition engine developing max of 204 bhp at 1200 rpm.
