Development by Short Brothers of missile which is basically 7 1/2-in. diam cylinder with 4 swept-back movable wings at center and 4 fixed fins at rear; body contains fuze, warhead, electronic pack, control-surface (wing) actuator assembly and rocket-motor assembly; Seacat's wings are swept at 60°, tapered towards tips and have symmetrical airfoil section; structural features, command system of guidance, and other details; Seacat launcher; Tigercat, land-based variant of Seacat.
