Solar Kick Scooter Abstract This invention is an electric kick scooter with in-built, front-mounted solar panels that can provide power and recharging the battery from the sun. It includes the application of vertical solar panels mounted on the electric kick scooter stem, whose orientation can be adjusted to improve aerodynamics while the scooter is in use. These panels can then be adjusted in orientation in relation to each other, and towards the sun when parked, to optimise solar energy collection. This design allows for the efficient collection of solar energy, with limited reduction in performance, while also being visible as a solar-powered vehicle. This invention applies to both new scooters, and the application of the solar panels, charge controller and mounts retrofitted onto an existing electric kick scooter.
