The invention belongs to the field of mechanical machining equipment and particularly relates to a portal crane. The portal crane comprises a crane span structure, wherein a rigid leg is fixed below the crane span structure, a travelling mechanism is arranged at the lower part of the rigid leg, a flexible leg is connected between the crane span structure and the rigid leg, a ladder and an operation room are arranged between the rigid leg and the flexible leg, a slide rod is arranged at the lower end of the crane span structure, an electric hoist is arranged on the slide rod, a slide wheel rack A and a slide wheel rack B are respectively arranged on the two sides of the upper end of the crane span structure, a pulley block is arranged between the slide wheel rack A and the slide wheel rack B, a hanger component is connected below the pulley block. According to the portal crane disclosed by the invention, a mode of combining the rigid leg with the flexible leg is adopted without a cantilever and a single-girder truss structure, so that section steel or butt-welding section steel welding is adopted, the rigid leg and the flexible leg are connected though a bolt, the rigid leg and the crane span structure are connected through a pin roll. The portable crane is low in structural cost and convenient to use and operate.
