The invention discloses an intelligent road flow adjusting system which comprises two cameras, a processor and a plurality of indication lamps, wherein the two cameras are both mounted at an intersection in opposite directions; the indication lamps are mounted on lanes and sign lines of roads; the cameras and the indication lamps are both connected with the processor. By adopting the intelligent road flow adjusting system, widths of lanes in two directions can be adjusted according to traffic density, the road resource can be sufficiently utilized, traffic smooth can be ensured for most people, the through efficiency of the roads is improved, and the intelligent road flow adjusting system is high in intelligence degree and easy to use and maintain.
