The invention discloses a microcomputer control system of an internal combustion locomotive. The microcomputer control system comprises a microcomputer screen, a signal conversion screen and a display, wherein the microcomputer screen comprises a central processing unit (CPU), a microcomputer power module, a digital output module, a digital input module, an excitation module, an analog expansion module, an analog-to-digital conversion module, a diesel speed regulation module and a frequency input module; the CPU is used for controlling and managing various input and output signals of the internal combustion locomotive; the excitation module is used for controlling the magnetic field current of an exciter in a PWM (pulse width modulation) mode; and the microcomputer screen communicates with the display through RS232. According to the microcomputer control system, complex and accurate logic control of an operating structure is realized by comprehensively using multiple operating parameters, so that the optimal control of the internal combustion locomotive system is realized, and the microcomputer control system has a complete fault early-warning protection program, so that the operating safety of the locomotive system is improved.
