The invention relates to the technical field of tire production, and in particular, relates to a rubber composition for a tire sidewall. The rubber composition for the tire sidewall is characterized by being prepared from the following raw materials in parts by weight: 30-40 parts of epoxidized natural rubber, 10-20 parts of butadiene rubber, 10-14 parts of natural rubber, 8-10 parts of carbon black, 0.5-9.5 parts of zinc oxide, 3-5 parts of stearic acid, and 0.5-1.5 parts of an anti-aging agent. The processing technique is easy to master, production is easy to control, and the rubber composition for the tire sidewall has relatively good comprehensive performance, is conducive to ecological protection, also can maintain hardness, and has excellent resistance to crack and resistance to deformation crack growth.
