The invention relates to a penetrating and winding method of a large-diameter variable-amplitude steel wire rope of a large moving-arm type tower crane. The penetrating and winding method comprises the following steps: with a small-diameter steel wire rope as a traction rope, bundling the head end of the traction rope on a winding drum of a lifting winch, completely winding the traction rope on the winding drum, then enabling the tail end of the traction rope to pass by variable-direction pulleys, after completing the whole penetration and winding in the two pulley groups, connecting the tail end of the traction rope with a chicken-heart-shaped ring of a variable-amplitude steel wire rope, then operating the lifting winch and a variable-amplitude winch to wind the traction rope into the lifting winding drum again, and guiding the variable-amplitude steel wire rope out of a variable-amplitude winding drum so as to utilize the lifting winch to wind the large-diameter variable-amplitude steel wire rope into the two pulley groups by the traction rope. The penetrating and winding method has the advantages that the steel wire rope with the diameter being smaller than the diameter of the variable-amplitude steel wire rope is taken as the traction rope, one end of the steel wire rope is fixed on the lifting winding drum, the whole penetration and winding are finished in the two pulley groups, and the lifting winch is utilized as the traction power for penetrating and winding the variable-amplitude rope.
