The invention relates to a building steel hoisting tool. The building steel hoisting tool comprises a plurality of openable hoisting collars, wherein an electromagnet is arranged on the inner side surface of each hoisting collar; the upper ends of all of the hoisting collars are connected through a first link rod, and the lower ends of all of the hoisting collars are connected through a second link rod; the first link rod is connected with a hook; the inner surface of the hook is connected with a pressure sensor; a controller, a warning device and a storage battery are arranged on the first link rod; both the pressure sensor and the warning device are connected with the controller; all of the electromagnets, the pressure sensor, the controller and the warning device are connected with the storage battery. Through adoption of the building steel hoisting tool, the problem that safety accidents caused by the fact that over-heavy hoisted steels are likely to slip in the hoisting process is solved.
