The invention discloses an aerial catapult parachute-opening experiment device and method for an unmanned helicopter parachuting system. The experiment device comprises an unmanned helicopter simulation structure (1), the parachuting system (2), an ignition control device (3), a releasing control device (4) and an image processing device. During experimenting, the releasing control device (4) releases the unmanned helicopter simulation structure (1) from a tower arm (5) according to an external instruction, the ignition control device (3) controls the parachuting system (2) to be catapulted out after the unmanned helicopter simulation structure (1) freely falls, and the image processing device acquires an image when the unmanned helicopter simulation structure (1) lands, calculates stable-falling landing speed of the unmanned helicopter simulation structure, compares a measured landing speed value with a theoretical value and gives out an experiment result. By the experiment device and method, simulation of working environment and working process of a parachuting recovery system when an unmanned helicopter is in an out-of-control state can be realized.
