The invention provides a driving device for a translation dumper, and aims to solve the problems of high cost and transmission power loss due to a fact that an oil pump drives an oil cylinder or a hydraulic motor. The driving device comprises an input mechanism, a transmission mechanism and an unloading mechanism. The technical scheme includes that the input mechanism is connected with the transmission mechanism, and the transmission mechanism is connected with the unloading mechanism. The driving device is simple in structure, high in transmission efficiency and low in manufacturing cost, can drive an automobile drive axle through an automobile transmission shaft and can further directly drive an additional transmission device, and energy consumption is greatly saved.
