The invention relates to a method for a rail vehicle air conditioner to achieve humidity control through a refrigeration function and relates to a method for controlling a rail vehicle air conditioner device, in particular to a control method for performing dehumidification in a vehicle through refrigeration. A rail vehicle air conditioner control system obtains the temperature and humidity in a carriage and switches a refrigeration mode and a ventilation mode through set temperature indexes. The method is characterized in that the air conditioner control system stores a set temperature index and a set humidity index, and makes a comprehensive judgment according to the temperature and humidity in the carriage obtained in real time. When the air conditioner runs, the method comprises the following steps: (A) when the air conditioner is started for the first time and runs, if the humidity in the carriage is larger than the humidity index and the temperature in the carriage is lower than the temperature index, reducing the temperature index by N DEG C; (B) when the air conditioner needs to be switched from the refrigeration mode to the ventilation mode according to temperature control, making a comprehensive judgment, and if the comprehensive judgment is tenable, reducing the temperature index in the carriage by N DEG C; and (C) when the humidity in the carriage is smaller than the humidity index, restoring the temperature index to a stored value. The process of the comprehensive judgment is that the comprehensive judgment is tenable if the humidity in the carriage is larger than the humidity index and the temperature index is not reduced.
