The invention provides a freight vehicle whole-course monitoring device and system. The system comprises at least one freight vehicle whole-course monitoring device which is used for acquiring whole-course monitoring information; and a transport management center which is used for receiving the whole-course monitoring information via a wireless communication network and transmitting the whole-course monitoring information to a corresponding user terminal. Freight vehicle whole-course monitoring is realized so that enhancement of safety guarantee for the vehicle, cargos and transport personnel in the cargo transport process is facilitated. The freight vehicle whole-course monitoring device and system are suitable for transport of high-value cargos and dangerous cargos.
