The invention discloses an electric balancing car. The electric balancing car comprises a wheel, a housing covering the wheel, pedal plates located on two sides of the wheel, a power supply and a control system. The wheel comprises a wheel rim and a motor assembly used for driving the wheel rim. The motor assembly comprises a stator, a rotor, two bearings and two connecting parts. The stator comprises an inner ring body and a winding body arranged on the inner ring body. The axial width of the inner ring body on the wheel is larger than that of the winding body on the wheel. Inner rings of the two bearings are arranged on the inner ring body of the stator in a sleeving mode. The two bearings are respectively located on two sides of the winding body. The wheel rim is fixedly arranged on the rotor. The two connecting parts are connected with outer rings of the two bearings and the rotor or the wheel rim. The pedal plates are indirectly or directly connected to the stator. A cavity is enclosed by the inner ring body of the stator. At least a part of the cavity penetrates through the wheel. A penetrating part of the wheel is free from structural components such that weight of the wheel is decreased and portability of the electric balancing car is enhanced.
