The invention relates to the technical field of automobiles, in particular to an energy-saving vehicle. The energy-saving vehicle comprises a vehicle body, wheels, a carriage, an elastic mechanism and a transmission mechanism. The vehicle body is provided with an installing port used for containing the carriage. One end of the carriage is hinged to the edge of the installing port. The other end of the carriage is in transmission connection with the wheels through the transmission mechanism. The carriage is internally used for bearing weight. The elastic mechanism is arranged between the vehicle body and the carriage and used for upwards moving the carriage. According to the energy-saving vehicle, in the vehicle running process, the carriage bearing the weight can move downwards and can move upwards through the elastic mechanism, accordingly, the carriage can move up and down, and the wheels are driven to rotate through the transmission mechanism. Accordingly, in the energy-saving vehicle running process, the gravitational potential energy of the weight on the energy-saving vehicle can be converted into mechanical energy through the elastic mechanism and the transmission mechanism, accordingly, the vehicle is pushed to move forwards, waste of fuel or electric energy in the vehicle advancing process is reduced, and the energy saving effect is good.
