The invention provides a shell periphery radar ranging device, belonging to the technical field of vehicles. The shell periphery radar ranging device comprises a body, sandwich layers, a high pressure gas holder, gas pipes, gas valves, barometers and ranging radars, wherein the front-end sandwich layer and the rear-end sandwich layer are respectively arranged at the front end and rear end of the body, the front-end ranging radar and the rear-end ranging radar are respectively arranged at the front and rear end faces of the body, the high pressure gas holder is arranged at the bottom end of the body, the front-end gas valve, the rear-end gas valve, the right-end gas valve and the left-end gas valve are respectively arranged on the front-end gas pipe, the rear-end gas pipe, the right-end gas pipe and the left-end gas pipe, and the gas valves, the barometers and the ranging radars are all connected with an electronic control unit through wiring harnesses. In the invention, when the electronic control unit monitors a situation that a vehicle is about to collide with another vehicle, the gas valves are opened so as to inflate the sandwich layers, thereby reducing the collision loss. The shell periphery radar ranging device is reasonable in structure and simple in design and is suitable for design of a vehicle anti-collision system.
