The invention discloses an intelligent bus riding system, which comprises a plurality of buses which run along the assigned line, wherein signal emission modules are arranged in the buses; all stations are arranged along the running line of the buses; the stations are provided with station control modules and shield door modules which are electrically connected with the station control modules; horizontal riding apparatuses are arranged on the stations, located under the shield door modules, and electrically connected with the station control modules; after the bus stops at the edge of the station, the horizontal riding apparatus covers the gap between the bus and the station, and passengers are assisted in getting on/off the bus. The intelligent bus riding system has the advantages that the risk brought by the condition that the gap between the bus and the station is subjectively judged by a driver is avoided; the potential safety hazard caused by too large gap between the station and a door of the bus is reduced; the efficiency of the passengers getting on/off the bus is improved; the safety of the passengers getting on/off the bus is ensured under dense steam of people; and the intelligent bus riding system is widely applicable for public transport stations of various cities.
