The invention discloses an engine flywheel housing sling which comprises a framework, a cross rod, a hook lug and a hanger plate, wherein the framework takes the shape of a right-angle hook and comprises a hanger plate frame, a hook lug frame and a cross rod frame; the bottom surface of the cross rod is orthogonally fixed at the outer end of the inner side of the cross rod frame; the top surface of the cross rod is the buckling surface of the inner side of a flywheel housing; the hook lug is arc-shaped; the middle part of the hook lug is fixed on the framework; the two outer ends of the arc-shaped hook lug are clamping heads of outer edge reinforcing ribs of the flywheel housing; the hanger plate is fixed on the outer side of the hanger plate frame and is provided with lifting holes. On account of the basin type characteristic of the flywheel housing and through reasonable force distribution design, hoisting and automatic reversing of the flywheel housing are realized; the engine flywheel housing sling has the characteristics of smooth and steady hoisting, small mass and convenience in operation and can greatly improve the assembling efficiency of the engine flywheel housing.
