The invention relates to the field of aerial work equipment, in particular to an illuminating type aerial work platform. The illuminating type aerial work platform comprises a platform body, guard rails, illuminating lamps and a controller. The guard rails are installed on the periphery of the platform body. The illuminating lamps are installed on the guard rails. The illuminating lamps are connected with the controller. The controller is installed on the platform body. By means of the illuminating type aerial work platform, stable-intensity illumination can be provided in an insufficient light environment, the working efficiency of maintenance personnel is improved, and hazards caused by insufficient light are reduced.
