The invention provides an automotive air conditioner controlling method and an air conditioner controller. The automotive air conditioner controlling method comprises the steps of acquiring out-of-automobile environment information by the air conditioner controller from an Internet-of-vehicles system, wherein the out-of-automobile environment information at least comprises season, time, altitude, surrounding environment, weather, out-of-automobile temperature, out-of-automobile humidity, sunlight intensity and air quality; receiving in-automobile environment information by the air conditioner controller, wherein the in-automobile environment information is acquired by an air conditioner sensor and at least comprises an in-automobile temperature and an evaporator outlet air temperature; analyzing the out-of-automobile environment information and the in-automobile environment information by the air conditioner controller, thereby acquiring an in-automobile required environment; and conditioning the in-automobile environment which corresponds with the in-automobile environment information by the air conditioner controller until the in-automobile environment is same with the in-automobile required environment. The automotive air conditioner controlling method and the air conditioner controller have advantages of realizing automatic generation of a comfortable in-automobile environment for a user, improving user experience and improving driving safety.
