The invention discloses a building method for a large barque used for outdoor bound activities. The building method comprises the following steps: building personnel is divided into multiple large groups; each large group is divided into multiple small groups; the building personnel in each small group firstly manufacture a small raft; then the small rafts are connected; after the crafts of each large group are connected, the bamboo crafts of all the large groups are connected; after the connection is finished, barque masts are fixed; the barque masts are arranged on the connected bamboo crafts by utilizing supports; sails are made of canvas or industrial cloth; and finally a rail manufactured from short moso bamboo is fixed at the front end of the barque for protection. By adopting the building method, safety can be ensured, and a high-altitude bound facility does not need to be built or used; and the quality can also be ensured, and a traditional mode of base bound activities is thoroughly abandoned. All the bound students jointly build the giant barque; all the members can go aboard and sail away after the barque is built; the team morale is enhanced; the team cohesiveness is improved; and the team accomplishment sense is motivated.
