The invention relates to a roller brake of a crane hoisting mechanism. The roller brake comprises a bracket, wherein a roller is arranged at the middle part of the bracket; the outer side of the roller is encircled with two sets of brake shoes; the upper ends of the two sets of brake shoes are both connected with baffle plates; the outer sides of the baffle plates are connected with brake grooves; screw rods are inserted in the middle parts of the brake grooves; the top ends of the screw rods are connected with screw caps; the screw rods are provided with threads in a winding manner; sleeves are arranged in the connecting places of the outer sides of the brake grooves and the screw rods; springs are arranged between the baffle plates and the inner side walls of the brake grooves; the screw rods penetrates through the internals of the springs; a cam is arranged between the two baffle plates; the right end of the cam is connected with a cross bar; the right end of the cross bar is connected with a transmission rod through a rotating shaft; the right side of the transmission rod is connected with a push rod through a rotating handle; a ratchet wheel is fixedly connected with an adjusting rod A convenient for the rotation of the ratchet wheel; and a pawl base is arranged at the outer side of an eccentric shaft, and is hinged with a pawl. The roller brake has the advantages of simple design, convenience for operation, good economy, convenience for assembly and disassembly and stable braking.
