The unmanned aerial vehicle comprises an unmanned aerial vehicle body, wherein a water taking device is arranged on the unmanned aerial vehicle body, the water taking device is connected with the unmanned aerial vehicle body through a lifting mechanism, the lifting mechanism drives the water taking device to vertically ascend and descend and enables the water taking device to descend and ascend. When sample water collection is implemented, the unmanned aerial vehicle flies to a position above a specified water area, when the unmanned aerial vehicle is in a hovering state, the lifting mechanism enables the water taking device to descend to the position below a water surface to collect the sample water, then the water taking device is lifted up, the unmanned aerial vehicle is started again, the unmanned aerial vehicle flies away from a sample water sampling area, and the unmanned aerial vehicle can effectively avoid a safety risk problem existing in the sampling process.
