The electric linear motor (5) comprises a numberof stator beams (16), wherein at least one of the stator beams (16) comprises a plurality of stators (17) extending in a longitudinal direction (18) of the stator beam (16), a number of movers (20),wherein at least one of the movers (20) comprises a plurality of armatures (22), each one of the armatures (22) is adapted for establishing an electromagnetic coupling with a corresponding one of thestators (17) for moving the mover (20) along said stator (17), and at least one of the armatures (22A-22D) is arranged to be offset (25) from the aligned position with respect to the corresponding oneof the stators (17) in a perpendicular direction relative to the longitudinal direction (18).
