The invention relates to the technical field of automobile braking energy recovery, in particular to an automobile braking energy recovery method. The method comprises the steps that the vehicle speedand the brake master cylinder pressure of a vehicle are obtained; acquiring a required braking torque according to the vehicle speed and the pressure of a braking main cylinder, and judging a brakingstage of the vehicle, wherein the braking stage comprises a braking initial stage, a braking main stage and a braking end stage; when the vehicle is in the initial braking stage, the required brakingtorque is distributed to a motor, and a hydraulic braking system does not participate in braking; when the vehicle is in a main braking stage, the required braking torque is distributed to a hydraulic braking system and a motor; and when the vehicle is in the braking end stage, the required braking torque is distributed to a hydraulic braking system, and a motor does not participate in braking. The method can solve the problems that an existing electric vehicle braking energy recovery method is poor in braking pedal feeling, and the driving feeling is affected.
