The invention discloses an electric power steering system with multiple driving mode selections for a commercial vehicle. Light/micro commercial vehicles have light or serious uncomfortable steering hand feeling when driven on different driving road surfaces and other environments, and especially under the conditions of no load and full load, the steering load resistance difference of the vehicleis large, and multiple driving modes are provided to adapt to the difference, so that a driver can select the proper steering control hand force and can meet different driving preferences of differentdrivers. Various power-assisted current characteristic curves taking different rated steering hand forces as targets are designed and developed to correspond to the different driving modes, and the power-assisted current characteristic curves are preset in a basic power-assisted module; and when the driver makes a corresponding driving mode switching instruction in a mode of combining different continuous ignition switch sequences or independently arranged gear knobs and the like in a parking state, an ECU is triggered to start the driving mode selection so as to call the expected power-assisted current characteristic curve.

    本发明公开了一种用于商用车的具备多种驾驶模式选择的电动助力转向系统。针对轻/微型商用汽车在不同行驶路面等环境中,会表现出或轻或重的不舒适的转向手感,特别是在空载和满载两种情况下,车辆的转向负载阻力差异较大,而本发明提供了多种驾驶模式,以适应这些差异,驾驶员可选择出适宜的转向操纵手力,以及可满足不同驾驶者的不同驾驶喜好。本发明设计开发了以不同额定转向手力为目标的多种助力电流特性曲线,来对应不同驾驶模式,将其预设到基本助力模块中;当驾驶员在驻车状态下,以不同的连续点火开关次序组合的方式或独立设置的档位旋钮等,做出了对应的驾驶模式切换指令后,将触发ECU启动驾驶模式选择,来调用所期望的助力电流特性曲线。
