When the comparison result is that the road width is not smaller than the width between outer sides of wheels on two sides of the vehicle, the width between obstacles on the two sides of the road is compared with the width between the outer sides when the two rearview mirrors of the vehicle are unfolded and the width between the outer sides when the two rearview mirrors are folded; when the width between the obstacles on the two sides of the road is smaller than the width between the outer sides when the two rearview mirrors of the vehicle are unfolded and larger than the width between the outer sides when the two rearview mirrors are folded, the rearview mirrorsare controlled to be folded, and images in the vehicle driving direction are obtained; the vehicle-mounted display screen is used for displaying images of the driving direction of the vehicle in realtime. 本发明实施例公开了一种通过狭窄道路的车辆控制系统以及方法,属于车辆技术领域。其中所述系统包括:检测设备、控制器以及车载显示屏,检测设备用于实时检测车辆行驶方向的前方道路信息;控制器用于根据前方道路信息得到道路宽度和道路两侧障碍物之间宽度,当比较结果为道路宽度不小于车辆两侧车轮外侧之间宽度时,将道路两侧障碍物之间宽度与车辆两后视镜展开时外侧之间宽度、两后视镜折叠时外侧之间宽度进行比较,当道路两侧障碍物之间宽度小于车辆两后视镜展开时外侧之间宽度而大于两后视镜折叠时外侧之间宽度,则控制折叠后视镜,并获取车辆行驶方向的影像;车载显示屏用于实时显示车辆行驶方向的影像。本发明能够提升驾驶的安全性。
